Black Ice is lucky to have a dedicated coaching staff with extensive experience coaching and developing successful women's rugby programs. Our coaching staff is dedicated to sharing their knowledge of rugby with veterans and novices of the sport.

Jon Mooney
Jon Mooney has been the Black Ice Head Coach since August 2014. This year is Jon's 20th year coaching women's rugby in which he utilizes his passion for rugby to develop a team that works hard toward a common goal, and translates the lessons they learn into the successes in their personal and professional lives. Jon is also a participant in the USA Rugby Women's National Team Elite Coach Development Pathway.
Fun Fact: Jon is a ballroom dancing aficionado.
